Today, Newcastle heavy hardcore kings Honest Crooks release their crushing new single Serpent Of Old. The new single drops just in time for the bands Australian tour supporting US hardcore act Xibalba which kicks off on August 18, full details below.

Serpent Of Old is straight up heavy hardcore mixed with elements of death metal in what is the bands most brutal track to date. Chunky guitars, pummelling drums and singer Brodie Graham's visceral vocals are a sign of what's to come from one of Australia's premiere heavy acts.

"Serpent Of Old is an interpretation of The Fall Of Man in the bible and the concept of Original Sin. Adam and Eve meet the Serpent in The Garden Of Eden who convinces them to eat the forbidden fruit, introducing the unholy knowledge of shame and evil." - Honest Crooks

Established in regional NSW late 2014, Honest Crooks set one goal; to make a name for themselves in the Australian heavy music circuit.

DIY mentality put "Hellsworth's Heaviest" on the map with successful headline tours setting them up for direct support slots to rising bands Alpha Wolf and Justice For The Damned then to international heavyweights such as Antagonist AD, Harms Way and Xibalba.

Creating their own amalgamation of death metal and hardcore, Honest Crooks brought a crushing mosh driven performance to festival appearances alongside Knocked Loose, The Acacia Strain, Kublai Khan, Terror, Malevolence and more.

Having amassed over 1.5 million Spotify streams across just 3 EP releases, joining forces with EVP Recordings has their long awaited debut LP set to be released in early 2023.
